Hey Bhagwaan aur kya kya dikhaaega aaj? 😂😂😂
Salman, along with Alvira Agnohotri and lawyer, left for Jodhpur for the hearing yesterday (JUST IN: Salman Khan To Leave For Jodhpur For Blackbuck Case, Jan 17).
For those who’ve come in late, here's what happened: A case was registered against Salman under the Arms Act for alleged possession and use of arms with expired license during poaching of two blackbucks, a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act, at village Kankani near Jodhpur in October, 1998.
The superstar was shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain when the incident occurred. While the lower court found him guilty, he was acquitted by the High Court.
Apart from the blackbuck poaching case, Salman’s 2002 hit-and-run is pending at the apex Indian court.
A week later (January 25), Salman will travel to Jodhpur, yet again to record his statement in the blackbuck poaching case. Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari will join him.
This is not the first time the actor has been trolled due to the verdict in his favour. In July last year, the actor was trolled for being acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in the 1998 twin poaching cases (Salman Khan’s Acquittal: Aam Aadmi trolls the verdict, Jul 25).
Furthermore, in March 2016, the Bombay high court suspended the actor's five-year prison sentence in a hit-and-run case. He was convicted for killing a homeless man with his SUV on a night out drinking in September 2002.
